With the exception of Hamburg Mayor Chris Lund, who, in himself; is a 'piece of work', it's important to point out that I have NEVER MET ANY of the elected City Council Members. My 'perception' of all four of them is SOLEY based on hearing them 'in action' by listening to the City Council Meeting recordings of all of
them via the City's Website. (A concept that I was responsible for initiating when I was a Hamburg City Council Member; 2013-2016.)
By listening to those recordings of the four elected City Council Members, Councilmember Tim Tracy seems to be the only individual that has a clear-thinking head
on his shoulders and 'impresses' me the most; at least to this point. (It's too soon for me to form an objective impression of newly elected Hamburg City
Councilmember Jessica Weber who was seated on the City Council this past January, but it's good to see the diversity of bringing in a woman
to what has historically always been a 'male dominated' governing body of PUBLIC OFFICIALS in the City of Hamburg.)
As for the other two Hamburg City Councilmembers, if you've listened to either (or both) of them during any of the Hamburg City Council Meetings, it's
very clear and easy to quickly recognize, and form an accurate opinion about their suitability and effectiveness as representatives of the City of
Hamburg. To validate that statement, please CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW to hear the rambling comments (again) of one of the two
'hayseeds'; recorded at the April 27, 2021 Hamburg City Council meeting. He sounds like a 'radical vigilante' to me.

The most deluded people are those who choose to ignore what they already know. The COUNCILMEMBER'S irresponsible remarks about my anonymity are CLEARLY FALSE, my name, street address, telephone number and e-mail address are clearly, and easily, available, and accessible, on my Websites. His
implication of impending 'threatening behavior' because of my Website and what it has exposed (and will continue to expose) that is taking
place in the CITY OF HAMBURG by its PUBLIC OFFICIALS, speaks poorly of ANY ELECTED OFFICIAL of ANY City.
I'm confident that Carver County Sheriff Jason Kamerud, and his competent staff, 'scope out' my Website periodically, exposing 'what's going on' in a City
located in his County. Sheriff Kamerud's Department is now aware of the perceived threats made by a HAMBURG CITY COUNCILMEMBER. In essence;
that HAMBURG CITY COUNCILMEMBER has just reported the potential of his OWN STUPID ACTIONS to Law Enforcement.!! LOVELY !!
It's like a bank robber calling the Police and saying, "Hello; Police ?? My name is Bob and I'm thinking about
holding up a bank but I'm not sure yet which bank it will be, or how and when I'm going to do it."
He's NOT the BRIGHTEST BULB on Hamburg's 'String Of Lights' and painfully reminds me of ANOTHERHAMBURG CITY COUNCILMEMBER who served beside
me when I was a CITY COUNCILMEMBER. Yet, this one, too; is involved in decisions involving the City and HOW TAXPAYER DOLLARS ARE SPENT !! LOVELY !!
In a few short sentences, I've TOTALLY 'DEBUNKED' the BASELESS ALLEGATIONS of, and made by, that particular CITY COUNCILMEMBER. I can't imagine
a single resident living in the CITY OF HAMBURG that doesn't know who I am or that I am the 'author' of this Website (which was originally launched in 2007).
"THERE ARE NONE SO BLIND AS THOSE WHO WILL NOT SEE."
Of the thousands of people that I've met in my 78 years, HAMBURG CITY CLERK/TREASURER, JEREMY GRUENHAGEN, is probably the single person that hasDISAPPOINTED ME the MOST !! At one time, I 'thought the world' of Jeremy. But after what I've witnessed, Gruenhagen is the person, as far as I'm concerned, that is pretty much responsible for virtually EVERYTHING that's you've been reading about on this Website since about mid-2014. (Check back to hear the ACTUAL AUDIO when Gruenhagen 'BLIND SIDED' me during a HAMBURG CITY COUNCIL meeting !!)
When I moved to Hamburg in the Winter/Spring of 2006/2007, he was probably one of the first 'CITY OFFICIALS' that I met and I found that we shared several 'common interests'. Initially, I found Jeremy to be a pleasant, cordial and 'warm' representative of the CITY OF HAMBURG and a person of great knowledge and intellect. I maintained that opinion of Jeremy until 2013 when I became a HAMBURG CITY COUNCILMEMBER. Boy; talk about somebody 'getting into the 'wrong crowd' !! That 'experience' allowed me to 'see a side' of him that I 'didn't have a clue' existed and gain an even 'deeper insight' into the type of person he really was; and, in my opinion, remains to be today. A MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT !!
From reading the information contained on this Website about the CITY OF HAMBURG, you probably have already learned much about my current, 'new' opinion of the HAMBURGCITY CLERK/TREASURER; he's really "A wolf in sheep's clothing." When someone purports to be 'my friend' and then I 'catch' them LYING TO ME (not just ONCE, but MULTIPLE TIMES), that 'friendship' CEASES IMMEDIATELY and I will NEVER TRUST THEM AGAIN !! The fact that a PUBLIC OFFICIAL is INVOLVED, makes it EVEN MORE EGREGIOUS !! I can't believe he 'sold his soul'.
For those of you that are wondering "WHAT HAPPENED ??" between Gruenhagen and me, my 'catching him' LYING TO MEAND to the HAMBURG CITY COUNCIL, coupled with my personal observations of him, his actions and also witnessing his disrespect not only toward me, but toward other HAMBURG CITY OFFICIALS behind their back as well, PROVED to me that he is somebody that I CAN'T TRUST and I DIDN'T WANT as a so-called 'friend' any longer. "One Bitten, Twice Shy".
It totally 'boggles my mind' that other HAMBURG CITY OFFICIALS have the SAME KNOWLEDGE & INSIGHT about him that I have, yet; they continue to SUPPORT him. LOOK AT THE FACTS !! Don't be afraid to call what's taking place in the CITY OF HAMBURG what it is: CORRUPTION!!
